She Died After a Road Accident—The Final Moments of This R&B Legend’s Life Are Hard to Believe

Around 4 a.m., the van overturned on Interstate 65 in Montgomery County. Authorities said it was subsequently struck by a Freightliner tractor-trailer. Several people inside were transported to a hospital, but she was the only person who died.

The suddenness of the accident made the news especially painful for her family, friends, and fans. Her death came while she was still actively performing and looking ahead to new projects.
