Woman With World’s Largest Natural Breasts Turns Unusual Record Into A Successful Career

For 25 years, Annie Hawkins-Turner has transformed an extraordinary physical characteristic into a business that supported her family, created financial independence, and taken her around the world.

Known professionally as Norma Stitz, the Atlanta mother of two has held a Guinness World Record for the largest natural breasts since 1999. Her unusual journey began during childhood, when her breasts developed much earlier than those of her peers.

According to her account, Annie was developing breasts by age five and had reached a 36D size by nine. During her teenage years, the continued growth became increasingly difficult, and she was diagnosed with gigantomastia, a condition involving progressive enlargement of breast tissue.

The experience affected her confidence. She recalled being teased by classmates and worrying that potential partners might be interested in her only because of her appearance. Her life changed when she met Allen Turner in 1991.

Allen, an Air Force officer older than Annie, accepted her appearance and encouraged her to feel confident. Their relationship developed into marriage, and his support helped her discover a new opportunity.

After encouragement from Allen, Annie submitted photographs to a specialist magazine. The response was immediate, with readers showing strong interest.

She launched a website where subscribers could access her modeling work, and the business grew rapidly. According to her account, she earned about £40,000 during her first year and eventually generated more than one million pounds through her career.

For Annie, the business became more than income. She has said it helped pay for her children’s education, supported purchases, and allowed her to travel while remaining her own boss.

Allen remained an important part of her story until his death from lung cancer in 2003. Annie continued working afterward, building her career through modeling, appearances, and speaking engagements.

Her physical condition has also created practical challenges. She has described difficulties with transportation, seating, sleeping positions, and moving around safely. Doctors reportedly recommended reduction surgery, but she chose not to undergo the procedure.

Annie has said she believes her body adapted over time and that her back muscles developed to provide additional support.

 

Her children, Darius and Clara, have grown up watching their mother build a business around an aspect of her appearance that once caused insecurity. Annie says they are proud of what she achieved, although she has acknowledged they can sometimes become uncomfortable with the attention she receives.
